Had the best luck at the mouth of the Naselle River. There is some decent SRC fishing in Willapa bay also, never seen anyone but me out there though.
As you drive South from Raymond toward Long Beach on Hwy 101 you pass some very smelly oyster processing plants along the Wilipa. Have you or anyone you know caught sturgeon from boat or bank in that area?
Thank you for the report,

It looks like it has SRC written all over it. I will definately give that a go. When you say you had the best luck at the mouth of the Naselle, may I ask, was that for Sturgeon and bank or boat?

I was in a boat for sturgeon, don't know if you can get out there by road or trail. Have caught a few springer salmon on 6 wt flyrods while fishing reverse spider flys with red in them for SRC in the Naselle area also.
The oyster guys aren't used to seeing anyone fishing in Willapa and can have a serious cow when they see you out there. They calm down if you stay nice and friendly usually.
sorry but i didn't get any smelly area around there..are you sure?
