The ALPS wrap machine with the upgraded ALPS chuck, is the best wrap machine on the market to help complete the build process and shorten the time to build a rod. ALPS wrap machine with the upgraded chuck is attached to a 4' foot aluminum base and comes with an additional base section of aluminum to give you eight feet of workable building space. The upgraded ALPS self-centering chuck with two different chuck clamps and a locking set screw, will hold any blank diameter. A variable speed foot pedal and dial give you complete control of the RPMs. Also has the ability to double as a lathe to turn your own cork handles. The complete set comes with wrapping motor, drying motor, multi-spool thread transport and tensioning device, and three fully adjustable rod stands. In addition, the ALPS wrap machine has multiple drying speed options of 10, 14, and 18 RPMs.

In addition, Rougarou Rods, is having a sale with prices to good to list. In order to cash in on these savings, you will need to contact me via my Facebook page or via email. You will not be able to buy these anywhere at prices as low as what Rougarou Rods is offering this next month.

Here is Karry Batson showing off the Alps wrapper which is undoubtedly the best value wrapper on the market today.

Bottom line...if you or your friends are thinking about buying a power wrapper or on the fence about one, there is no better time to buy then now! Rougarou Rods with the support of Batson want to get as many new people into the rod building hobby as they can in the next month and we want them wrapping with an Alps power wrapper.

    Happy Wrapping,
    Eric

I have the Alps with upgraded chuck, an extra bed length, and two extra rod stands for a total of 5 as I build one piece rods up to 9-1/2 feet long.

A very good machine, if anyone has been thinking about buying a wrapper, do it now, this is a good deal.

I will post my modication for the rod stands later, this mod will prevent the rod from "hopping" out of the spring loaded stand.
