    Thumbs up New Rod

    Hello All.

Thought I would show off my custom rod made by Jon Vadney that I used this year fishing for ocean kings out of Neah Bay. I used to use a GLoomis SAR1084C GL2 but found it at it's max fighting wild 30 - 40 pound Kings.

The blank is a 9' North Fork Composite SA906-2. It is sporting some carbon fiber grips, an alps trigger seat, Fuji titanium K guides, and is spiral wrapped......oh and trim-bands......lots and lots of trim-bands (145 to be exact).

Great blank that surpassed my expectations!

Very nice. I'm a fan of the red and black look.
